HurLossTM is a computer software application that models catastrophic property insurance losses caused by U.S. hurricanes. The basic HurLossTM application architecture consists of a web-based user interface from an Internet Information Services (IIS) server connected to a central database and file server that parcels out work to worker machines. Any client computer that has a web browser and is on the network can access the web user interface. HurLossTM supports many browsers, including:

  • Internet Explorer Version 8 or above
  • Mozilla Firefox Version 3.6 or above
  • Google Chrome Version 12 or above
